In 1999 I had a dream of building a wedding chapel. I had been in car rental for many years and decided if I can rent cars, I can rent space. It is all about good customer service.
I married in October 2000 in a small chapel in Broken Arrow, so by that time ideas were swirling in my head. My husband Harry and I started looking for land to build the chapel. We had an architect draw the vision. My son Dane Lytle adjusted the chapel design to make it flow better. We wanted to start as soon as possible. Then my husband was diagnosed with cancer, a year later, the cancer took his life.
Everything went on hold for 3 years, then I finally pulled out my business plan and started looking for property again. After looking at least 50 properties my son Dane Lytle found the perfect spot on a hill in Catoosa and he built Vesica Piscis Chapel. I then started looking for a financial partner. This turned out to be my sister Darla O'Brian of Seattle, Washington. We completed the chapel and had our first wedding on Sept 9, 2006. For 10 years we have had the joy of working with so many wonderful brides, grooms, and families.
We are a full service wedding chapel. We feel the brides, grooms and families need us to encourage and help through the planning process and they need to enjoy their wedding day with us doing the work. 783 weddings later we all still love what we do and plan to continue this journey for many years to come. I have been blessed with many wonderful employees, Christel Moser, our office manager, Brenton Thomas, our current banquet host, all our servers, dishwashers, and vendors that take such good care of our clients. It is wonderful to fulfill a dream that in the beginning I was not sure was possible. ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!
